HAPPY HOLI
*
Holi (English pronunciation: /ˈhoʊliː/) (Sanskrit:
होली) is a spring
festival also known as festival of colours, and sometimes festival of love.[3][4] It
is an ancient Hindu religious festival which has become popular with non-Hindus
in many parts of South Asia, as well as people of other communities.[ The festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of
spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and
laugh, forget and forgive, and repair ruptured relationships5]

Boisterous
Holi comes with Spring
Dawn makes sure that the day shines
bright
Dark desires burnt in the night
Frolicsome spirits dance and sing
Blooms burst colors to make bees
hum
Boozers doze with carafe and rum
All squirt colors feud forgetting
The Sun above promises warmth
Tropical heat muses in mirth
Hearts in bright hues much
rejoicing
Bliss wafts silently through the
air
Though coal-black moments are not
rare
Through ages flow merry-making
In all lands in different name
If I’m not happy who’s to blame?
Boisterous
Holi comes with Spring
Frolicsome spirits dance and sing
All squirt colors feud forgetting
Hearts in bright hues much
rejoicing
Through ages flow merry-making
