FIVE SUGARED ALMONDS

Five sugared almonds

As Wedding favors

Ensure marital bliss

In some cultures

An odd number is

Indivisible

The tradition notes that

Five is the winsome

Showering health

Happiness, wealth

L o n g e v i t y

And fertility

To the newly wed

And two become one

Till death separates

 

Humans forever

Care for love, beauty

And creation

Never a war nor a carnage

For humans

Only if humans
