i try to give it a body of words,
love to sit on other blooms,
for honey, color, fragrance........

This is love and forgiveness, to rise above the thorns unscathed. It goes both ways, this trust and forgiveness. A beautiful nugget that speaks to my condition!

Those thorny parts of the path are very hard to navigate. There is no denying that. We just have to keep moving, not getting stuck in the thorns. It is reassuring to know there is Someone with us as we walk, even when the thorns seem never ending.
It is comforting to know that, whatever the path, we are not alone.
Your style of language suits the prayer-like quality of the verse.
Beautiful and powerful in its faith, Sumana. One step at a time......

One is blessed in many good ways if the path is lighted. Hank
Such a beautiful poem--and prayer!
Oh, I love this. A traditional Tanka in Old English language. As an enthusiast of both, I'd say you did really well with the meter & choice of old english here. Great piece!- ksm
