How can you not respond when you see a heron. Such majestic creatures. I will usually catch them out at the lake a couple times a year, standing stoic. And when they spread their wings and take off. Lovely.
I was about to quote the same line SuyashJ chose. It holds so many sounds, images... there is even the feeling of the slick words coating the shoulders. Wonderful!
