BUTTER
Look how the blue boy
Melts Yashomati ma’s heart
With buttery words
Little butter thief
Stealthily entered my heart
Can’t help loving Him
Ah, very nice!

That Blue Boy looks like a bit of a minx to me. We have a Blue Boy by Thomas Gainsborough but he looks far more angelic:)

ReplyDeletethank you for the information on Thomas Gainsborough's blue boy i was unaware of ......... just saw the oil painting in Wikipedia ..it's fabulous.....this poem's blue boy is Krishna... one of the most widely venerated Hindu gods worshiped for thousands of years.. he was a master prankster as a playful kid... :)
Lord Krishna stealthily entered my heart too. Very sweet poem.
ReplyDeleteThank you Suzy...
