Written for Mini-challenge:Masks @ Real Toads & shared with Poetry Pantry @ Poets United

MASK
I am consciousness alone
Wearing the body-mask for the time being
And watching how the Cosmic Soul
Has put on the mask of the universe
I am related to everyone and everything
I am beyond death
When the time comes
I shall cast away the mask
And be one with the Cosmic Soul
