What is your name?
Green Flame
Oh are you fire?
No, desire
What is then your demand?
The polka dot sky and the Land
And pray tell me why?
I want to grow
Till I die

ReplyDeleteThe polka dot sky and the Land
Have a good weekend Sumana ~
The wish to grow until I die makes this a touching poem and I love the sense of wonder in it.
ReplyDeleteMr. Linky went a little crazy … check back in a few and see if your poem is linked.. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThe conversational element is fun, and the "till I die" is just how they think… my 6 year old son wrote a poem once and the last line was something like "fell down dead" I think it was about fall leaves.
ReplyDeleteI like the personification in this poem. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE "I want to grow till I die".
