I can feel the pain in this beautiful poem, when "all words are shattered". I am so sorry. I also see the strength in being able to write these short lines. Sometimes we "write our way through" and it helps somewhat. The image you chose is very beautiful. Take care, Sumana. It is good to see you.
These powerful lines are almost as piercing as the pain they describe! All words shattered ... and yet, what have we but our words in times of pain? Inadequate as they sometimes feel, still I always think, 'What on earth do people do who aren't poets?' I sometimes forget (until told!) that my words forged in pain may offer something of value to others besides myself. You are a beautiful poet, Sumana, and have the ability to touch hearts, as these words touch mine.
All words shattered. To be left with a void like that when one usually has the words… I hope you can find a way back, expressing grief, heartache is often a way out. I wish you strength and healing.
Silence is killing at times. Void is what we wanna avoid :)
