Forget-Me-Not

source

My soul awakens

To their mellifluous hue

Forget-me-not blooms

Forget-me-not blooms

In every cell of my blood

When I think of you

When I think of you

You whisper in petal voice

Forget-me-not Ma

  2. This is such a touching trio...I love the way you chained them together by carrying the last line into the first of the next one...graceful and beautiful. Thank you for writing today, Sumana!

  5. The intense/loud emotions in the first two haiku--especially the pumping blood in the second one--is made more powerful by the softness contained in the promise of the last haiku.

  6. Such radience, such blume and perfume, such fragility. I love the petal voice! A fine remembrance.

  19. Sumana, I am working my way back through your poetry this morning. The ending of this one is breathtaking. I think you must be seeing her everywhere in nature, and I am sure you will never forget her...and will meet her again!
