any picture comes to my mind,
i try to give it a body of words,
love to sit on other blooms,
for honey, color, fragrance........
There's a majesty in these beautiful, impassioned words.
What strength and trust is in this poem Sumana.
Trust is such a difficult to define. It requires loyalty and submissiveness. I thoroughly enjoyed the sentiments here, Sumana ad each line doesn't show any condition which could alter the meaning of trust
So much easier to put your trust in the might of nature than to the fickleness of human hearts..
With faith, trust, love let my heart be filledIf blessed with the 3 elements one can never go wrong! Heart-felt feelings extended then can be most real and sincere! Great lines Sumana!Hank
Letting go and accepting the world as it is requires a leap of faith..an ultimate trust..not easy and very admirable to achieve..another honest and beautiful poem
Be my storm, fire, deluge whatever Thou WillWith faith, trust, love let my heart be filled.Loved the closing lines.. It is as difficult to gain trust as easy it is to lose it. Well penned..!Lots of love,Sanaa
A strong prayer of faith ~ I specially admire the ending couplet ~Have a good weekend Sumana ~
a most comforting poem!
"My soul has taken bath in fire yet not burnt" -- What a powerful statement this is, Sumana.Really hard to keep faith when all goes well in life, but much more difficult to keep the faith when difficult times abound! Your words express a strong faith.
To trust and then Trust with full heart--oohh--this is a good prayer--I will keep it to go beyond surfaces and into the vastness beyond all.
To read of trust so profound and pure is a delight

Like this prompt inspired poem, esp. second verse 'My soul has taken bath in fire yet not burnt' ...
You made the prompt a wonderful springboard for this piece.ZQ
Such a beautiful poem of faith, Sumana. You inspire me! I found the same line as Mary so powerful. "I have taken bath in fire and not burnt."
My soul has taken bath in fire yet not burnt.....so beautiful lines
Trusting the river, the mountains...and surely our god.Best things to put your trust into.
A song, a prayer, gratitude all wrapped in your words....indeed trust is one of the most difficult things we can do, but one of the essential ones.Donna@LivingFromHappiness
