Blood-red fire ball bursts

Sleepy eyes combat for life
Chirps stop for ever

  2. interesting way to use chirps...the first part made me think of being woke by the birds...like i slept late...smiles...the second turns all that on its head...smiles.

  8. I dont think a poem ever hit me in the heart quite like this one. Its brevity, and the image of the chirpy little bird just slams the message home. I think it is possible humankind is in a state of psychosis. FANTASTIC write!
