OH SPRING
Joy is forever
Icy cold shroud can’t quell it
Mind becomes spring
Mind becomes spring
Blooming flowers day and night
Poets wear a smile
Poets wear a smile
There is no dearth of blossoms
Oh bliss of creation
Written for : Artistic Interpretations with Margaret-‘Maria Wulf’s Visual Poems’@ Real Toads
My poem was inspired by one of the visual art video clips of Maria Wolf of Full Moon Faber Art…
I love the progression in this poem - and the joy of creation.
ReplyDeleteI am so need of the joy of this poem...beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe image of a shroud is nice here, and the fact that poets (although much poetry is sad:) cannot be repressed from happiness… is endearing.
ReplyDeleteYes! Just where it should be...joy stays put if we will it to. Nice angle!
ReplyDeleteJoy can be for ever., if we are optimistic. Wish you all happiness, bliss and joy.
ReplyDeletenice linked verse....from the bottom back to the top...that bliss and joy, i def feel it when i join in creation...
ReplyDeleteI love this one and feel we must find our bliss and gather it!

Love your first stanza 'Joy is forever
ReplyDeleteIcy cold shroud can’t quell it
Mind becomes spring' ~
First line comfort me, ...and then this idea that whatever outside - it's matter what on your mind....spring - in yours...nice
