The little pond
Holds the sky
In her bosom
A dewdrop the Sun
Thou art in my heart
I need none

  2. It is beautiful and can be read in so many ways. What struck me the most is the final line that I read as if the 'I' in the poem is missing her/his heart and needs to find it again. Beautiful!

  13. Beautiful images and thoughtful words. I found the lack of punctuation added to the poem, rather than detracted from it.

  14. I love the pond holding "the sky in her bosom" as the reflection... Sumana, this is a deceptively simple poem. Your final statement says you are at peace with the pure beauty of this moment. Loved it! Amy
