any picture comes to my mind, i try to give it a body of words, love to sit on other blooms, for honey, color, fragrance........
drops of Kindness - Love this that rain that satisfies us deep inside with life, beautifully crafted.
drops of kindness and contentment ashes...def a relief in the receiving...
Great imagery in your poem, Sumana. We could all do with a rain of kindness.
The goodness of heaven sometimes overwhelms us with such kindness.
Nice twist on the prompt... I find that last line intriguing.
your images are potent, enjoyed this quenching; have a nice Wednesdaymuch love...
enjoyed reading your lines....nicely done...a different take on the prompt.
Very nice Sumana...kindness and contentment--a beautiful pair.
This is beautiful Sumana. :-)
We can only be blessed by heaven if we have our hearts wide open...
A visceral, yet gently empathetic piece, nicely drawn.
What a powerful ending "contentments ash..."
Few lines and great meaning! What beautiful comparisons you have made. Drops of kindness...Contentment's ash...Loved it!
Thats so true. Only a few of us receive the drops of kindness sprinkled! Good one sumana :)The Dark One
"We walk on contentment's ash". I think I will always remember that line. Well done.
wow..in few lines you have put across a ocean of truth lovely sumana:)
we all crave for a little kindness, don't we?
Short but with a powerful meaning. And what a nice imagery. I really enjoyed reading this, Sumana!
Contentment is a mirage here? The ash made me think of things long gone and over. "We walk on contentment’s ash" sounds so final and yet like the turning of the karmic wheel. Deep.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing your valuable thoughts.........
