Lovely! I enjoy the illustration, especially the irony of its similarity to the Aesop's fable of Sour Grapes. Your poem expresses exactly the opposite. I like the word "toothsome"---too rarely used.
Your poem here makes me turn into a person who is excited for what lies ahead of him. That whatever it is in store for me will either be something to dream about or to receive appreciatively.
yes, i agree! i once read in an article that the brain does not know the difference between daydreaming an experience and actually living it...to the brain, a real experience exists in both!
Life is all about choices and taking right decisions...
