any picture comes to my mind,
i try to give it a body of words,
love to sit on other blooms,
for honey, color, fragrance........
Misery and sorrow makes us closer to God as we pray to Him for strength and perseverance. Well penned.Lots of love,Sanaa
Whew. Now that is discipline to view even misery as a blessing, but so true. Even our pain shapes us and I would not do without anything that happened to me to get me here.
It is a strong person indeed who accepts misery as a gift from God!
Your beautiful poem made me think of how we must have the strength to perceive everything in our lives with an open and forgiving heart - not many have the strength or courage to do that
Wise words that should be framed and followed :)
Sumana, as always your words uplift and inspire me. The strength it takes to accept sorrow! Your faith and courage humble me.
this poem is indeed humbling, as we bow to the way of the divine, i think is is the best way of forging aheadhave a good Wednesdaymuch love...
So much truth in these few lines <3
There's always a silver lining that can be found. This was very beautiful, Sumana :)
Misery is certainly good for us for we can can then appreciate how good life can be and how wonderful it has been.
My thoughts exactly.
we learn so much more from hardship than from easy living don't we?A graciously expressed truth Sumana
:) True that!
Learning from pain is a important way to grow.
A lovely piece.
Accepting the things I perceive as misery and suffering is so hard for me. It's so hard to surrender to what is, but such a necessary step for deeper spiritual growth. Thank you for this poem Sumana. I know you've had to accept so much. I am humbled before you.
Misery and sadness are also part of life and our learning ~ Love the wisdom Sumana ~
Misery is double-edged. I believe it can destroy some people while others will become stronger. It is even better if it can make you kinder and closer to God.
A beautiful evocation of acceptance.
Sumana,You are quite right, as there many very strong people, who can accept a heavy weight of suffering or unhappiness, if they have an equally strong faith..Acceptance, with both ease and pain..Eileen
There are tests of pains that make life move! certainly Sumana!Hank
