     Dona Nobis Pacem

I see a huge golden egg
The size of the full moon
Oscillating in the inky sky
A crack appears
The shell breaks into golden shower
A luminous Dove emerges
Spreading its radiant wings
It takes a downward flight
Hearing our prayer
Lo and Behold
The Earth metamorphoses
Into a love bubble in the galaxy

  13. I like the images in your poem Sumana, especially the moon-like golden egg and the love bubble.

  14. Ha! People typically equate peace with calm imagery. This was a great reversal of that.
