My Days

image from Etsy: Blue Muse Fine Art

My days

May not be

As symmetrical

As complex

As hued

My days

May not be

As captivating

As simple

As soft

They

Still

Work

As hard

Go

As deep in soil

Rise

As sunward

My

Days

With folded hands glances, charms

Prays then slowly preys

A Tiny Dream

My dark sky has for me countless bright stars

My dark cloud’s silver line is not that far

Art Thou within me under my dark sheaths?

Be in my heart my Lord my door’s ajar

My parched land thirsts for that shiny life’s light

The eyes are seeing without any sight

Blind leading the blind into that black pit

Let the filthy black hate-words lose their might

We’ll cover the dark sky with astral dream

Let our thoughts join hands and forcefully stream

Thou be our Pilot and steer the ship right

The dark world shall display one tiny gleam

An Evening Out

source here

Faint pink sky

Is pinned

With a single star

The evening bowl

Is filled

With chirp and twitter

Homeward feet

Are riveted

With weariness

Some are out

On the dirt road

Of stardust

First day for School

my first day for school: photo taken by my father

Eons ago

Two little feet

Set off to discover a new world

On a strangely fragrant January day

Alas! That swindler-Time’s swift, crack hands

Have stolen the golden memory for a keepsake as it were

Under lock and key in His maliciously black mysterious coffer

Forever

Eons ago

A young father’s

Loving click of his first born

On her first day to St. Anthony’s School

Still remains and delights the daughter’s heart

Maroon Skirt, white shirt, hair tied up with Ma’s love

Baba’s precious gal gives him a smile tricking Time to save it

Forever

Vincent Van Gogh

Starry Night By Alex Ruiz

The brush was stirring with life

Stars swirled and dropped from the bristles

He cupped them and put on the canvas

They vibrated with the village and cypress

They all lusted for life like Vincent

Maze of Life

                                It’s a maze

                       Stubborn paths encircle

In a never ending winding way

I have been walking from my birth to carve my path

Rest I may but I shall not turn back

                       Dark face has starry smile

                               And day star
